Our Wedding

Wedding Weekend Is Almost Here! We're looking forward to celebrating with everyone in just a few days. If you're in town Friday evening, we'd love to welcome you at Scossa (8 N Washington St, Easton) from 5:00–7:00 PM for drinks, light bites, and good company as we kick off the wedding weekend. For Saturday, please note that parking is not available at the venue. Complimentary shuttles will depart from the Fairfield Inn (8945 Sunflower Dr, Easton) at 3:15 PM. Please arrive by 3:00 PM to ensure you have a seat. Uber and Lyft are also great options. The wedding will conclude at 9:30 PM, and shuttles will return guests to the Fairfield Inn immediately following the reception. Commuting Over the Bay Bridge

If you are coming from the Washington DC area, you will have to go over the Bay Bridge to get to Easton. Traffic getting to the bridge is notorious for being bad in the summers. We would highly recommend planning on leaving early Friday morning to beat the traffic and similar for Sunday morning, will also want to leave before noon to avoid the worst of the traffic.

Transportation to the venue

Parking at the venue is not available, so we encourage guests to take advantage of our provided shuttle service or use Uber/Lyft for a smooth and easy ride. SHUTTLE INFO: Complimentary shuttles will depart from the Fairfield Inn at 3:15 PM (please arrive by 3:00 PM). The wedding will conclude at 9:30 PM, and shuttles will return guests to the Fairfield Inn immediately following the reception.

It all started with a dog named Josie.One afternoon, Maddie let Josie wander a little too freely into a nearby yard—one that happened to belong to David. At first, he wasn’t exactly thrilled… but that quickly changed. The moment he opened the door and saw Maddie, any frustration disappeared, replaced with a smile and a simple hello.A few months later, fate stepped in again. David spotted Maddie walking Josie around the neighborhood and mentioned he was hosting a bonfire and bourbon night with some neighbors. He casually invited her to join—and to his delight, she said yes. The invitation may have sounded laid-back, but David immediately texted everyone to make sure the bonfire was officially happening that night.From the moment Maddie arrived, the two talked for hours—about traveling, cooking, the Eastern Shore, Guster, and just about everything else. It felt easy, natural, and like something special was beginning.Two nights later, they went to their first Guster concert together (now five and counting!), and from that night on, they both knew—this was it.What started with a adventurous dog turned into something neither of them could have planned, but both of them knew was meant to be.

Cocktail Attire. Our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors on a waterfront lawn and garden setting. Guests are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear for walking on grass; ladies may wish to avoid stilettos and opt for wedges, block heels, or flats.
